Post Five

Hello readers!
Today is Thursday afternoon Feb 2nd. Yesterday I went on my "first" run for my new WISE project. It was hard while I was doing it, but afterwards I felt great! I am so motivated to do my new project. Today Brittany called a nutritionist and we set up a time to meet with them tomorrow at one o' clock. I am extremely excited about this and very interested to see what he is going to say. I am so happy with the amount of progress we have made this week. I feel like we really are getting the ball moving. I also spoke to my moms friend Jen who ran a half marathon this past weekend. She was extremely helpful with answering a few questions for my interview, and said that she is more then happy to help us with anything we need along the way. She also suggested some websites that she said helped her. Today I am going out for my second run of my WISE project. Hopefully everyday it will get a little bit easier. I am not killing myself though. I am taking really small baby steps until I reach my running goal. There are also a few shorter runs to help raise money for different causes in the area coming up and I think it would be a great idea to sign up for some of them because they would be great practice. Brittany also called me this afternoon with great news! She said that Mr. Gellers relative is going to help us with our training! I feel like everything for our project is slowly just coming together, which is very funny to me because we started out with the idea of design and now are headed a totally different direction. I have a good feeling about this one thought. I am going to head out and go for my run with my friend Nikki before it gets dark or I get too tired! Gotta run "literally"

  3. I applaud you lol. Every time I try to get into running, I might go for a mile and then not go again for a very long time. Yeah, free time tends to go to music, spend a lot of time in my chair :P If you need to stretch out, you should check out http://www.hotpoweryoga.ws It's a class that will seriously get/keep you in shape and of course, stretch. It's one of the best workouts around and it's about the only one I keep up with. Have fun!
