Hey!
Today is Wensday. My WISE presentation is ALMOST in one week! I can't believe it. This week I met with Coach Love and I showed him my outline and he and I set up times for about how long I should talk about each section. As of now there is not too much for me to blog about. Im continuing to get my stuff together. I am going to Arizona this weekend to visit my sister so I am very excited about that! But when I get back I have to be ready to present. I also signed up for the time we wanted on May 5th. It is my dads birthday so he will be happy to see my presentation on his birthday. I will be back later to blog.

April 25th
Hello!
Thursday afternoon was killer! It was def one of the hardest workouts I did with Kristi so far! Because I was so sore I had to take friday off. Saterday I got back into it and went to the gym for a while. It was refreshing to not be under pressure about being ready to do a long run. I worked more on my scrapbook on saterday and sunday. It is really coming together and looking cute. Brit and I are meeting this afternoon to continue working on our visuals. Today I have my last mentor meeting with Coach Love! I can't believe that WISE is coming to an end. We also think we came up with a day to present, and that is May 5th. I am very excited! We def have a lot to do in the next few weeks but it is managable. I made an outline of what I think the presentation is going to look like for Coach Love today. I am going to get his opinion and see what he says. Ill be back and let you know how it goes!

April 21st
Hello!
Today is Thursday but we do not have school tomorrow so it is really like a friday! This afternoon I am going to meet with Kristi and have a training session. Last afternoon Brit and I went to the Y and worked out together. Today is the day that we can sign up for presentations. I cannot believe it is already here! These weeks feel like they have flown by! We are hoping that we get to present on May 5th. We have to make sure that it works with everyone though. We got our pictures developed from the trip and they came out great! It brings back a lot of good memories even though it was only two weeks ago. I am gonna go now but ill be back and let you know how my workout went.

Second Post
Two days ago I went on a bike ride with my friend Jesse! It was a lot of fun and now that the race is over I have more freedom as to what I do with my workouts. We biked a total of seven miles. It was a nice ride except it was incredibly hot out! we now know for next time to wait until it cools down. After the ride my leggs hurt, I think its becuase it was a change in my workout. Anytime I do something that I have not done in a while or change something in my workout I usually get sore. Ill be back to blog later. I am in interior design now and need to go!

April 20th
Hey readers!
Yesterday we watched Coach Loves presentation. It was such a great presentation to watch. He def set the standards high. After watching his presentation it gave me a better feeling for what I have to do. It is a lot of work but it is deffintaltly possible. After having out mentor meeting this week he told me that he wanted me to come up with an outline for my presentation. Yesterday helped me realize some of the things I want to and need to include. At first I though that 35 min sounded like a long time to present but realistly it isn't. I have accomplished so much in the past 16 weeks and I will have plenty to talk about. Last night I met with Brit and we started to work on our scrapbooks. We decided that we are going to make two seperate ones that way we will both have one to hold on to at the end of the project. We can also continue with our scrapbook in the runs that we do togetehr in the future. Scrapbooking is a lot of fun but it can also be overwheleming trying to fot everything into a small page. After school today I am going to work out with Brit. We arn't sure what we are going to do yet but its been over a week since we last ran together so I am excited to get back into that with her! Im going to go but I will be back later!

April 18th
Hello!
Sorry I have not blogged. My last post I posed the pictures that where sent to my from the website. This week I plan on getting a lot of my presentation done. I can't believe presentations are so soon! Today I have my weekly mentor meeting. Tomorrow we are watching Coach Loves presentation. I am excited to see that because I think it will be a really good foundation to what should be included on my project. This past weekened I aprticiped in the relay for life. It was not a run, but it was a walk. Even though my WISE project is technically done I plan on continuing. Because me and Brit plan on doing our next half in in October we are not going to stop with our running. It is easier to just keep doing it rather then starting over again. This part of WISE is a lot of fun for me because personally I love making visuals and looknig back on my WISE experence. After thinking about it we decided that it would most likely be easiest to have our WISE presntation in school. It would be easiest for our peers to come and there is no reason for it to be in another location. Today I am going to talk to Coach Love about this more in detail.

April 12th
Today is 2 days after the race! I am still sore and have huge blisters on my feet. I am still so happy and feel so accomplished that I finished. Today I have my meeting with Coach Love. I am excited to tell him all about the race. We are trying to convince our moms to do it with us next year.I think that would be really cool. Later today Brittany and I are going to print some of the pictures we took. We plan on making a scrapbook and also using the pictures for different things. The next three weeks we have to focus on getting our presentation together. Kristi said that we can meet with her later this week and she can text us again. I am excited to see the changes that we made. We still plan on running and want to continue with it. The good thing is that the pressure is off!

April 10th
Hello!
Today was the day of the big race!!!! It was such an incredible experience! Yesterday my family and Brits family went up to Clearwater beach. It was beautiful there. We had a fun time at dinner together and it was such a great bonding experience. We both made sure that we drank plenty of water yesterday and eat plenty of carbs. After getting dinner and ice cream we headed back to the hotel because we knew we would have to get up early! We woke up at 5 :30 and left the hotel by 6. We had plenty of time to walk around and stretch before the race. I was nervous but I tried to keep calm. When the race started we decided we where going to run the first two miles without slowing down. After about 5 min we reached our first bridge. The bridges where very steep! And on this course we had go to over four bridges! When we reached about mile 4 I started to get really bad stomach pains and I told Brit to go ahead without me because I did not want to make her stop. The races was on a beautiful course! There where not enough water stations though. There where people cheering us on every mile and that was extremely motivating! At mile 11 I was starting to second guess myself and was scared that I was not going to make it. My stomach and feet killed! But I knew that I could do anything I put my mind too! Finally after 2 hrs and 52 min I finished! It was the greatest feeling! We took plenty of awesome pictures over the trip! I am so proud of me and Brit for doing this! I know that I could not have done it without her! After the race we walked around for a little and then headed back to the hotel. We where both extremely sore so we hoped right in the hot tub. It felt great! Shortly after that we wanted to get on the road. It was such a great accomplishment and I can't wait to do our next one. Ill be back tomorrow and give the report on how I am feeling the day after!

Hello!
Today it is Wensday. This week got a little messed up becuase we did not have school this past monday. My meeting with Coach Love got reschduled to today. These past couple days have been good for my project. Britany and I went and got shirts that we are going to wear for the race the other day! I really like them so I am excited. I can't believe it is this week! Tomorrow we have our last training session with Kristi. I don't know what to expect but I deffitnaly don't think she will kill us because she said she wants us to take it kind of easy this week. Last night I ran 3 miles. Today we are not sure what we are going to do yet. Britany and I are both going to bring out laptops with us this weekend and hopefully get some cool footage to help put our project together! I am very happy that the race is this week becuase we have a few weeks to focus on our presentation. I am going to add some noodletools right now. Ill be back later

Hello!
Sorry it has been a few days since I blogged last. Today is monday and we have off from school! yay! Yesterday was a HUGE day for our project. Britany and I woke up at 8 and did our longest run yet, 10 miles! It was super hot, but when we where finished we felt great! We also had a lot of confidence in next weeks race after completing this run. I can'y believe the race is this week!!! I am so excited! Today brit and I are going to the mall to get stuff to wear during the race. Later tonight I think we are doing yoga. I have been feeling so accomplished with my WISE project. Its a great feeling! Ill be back later to talk more about my day later!

March 25th
Hello readrers!
Today is Friday! TGIF! Today I am so sore from yesterday! I know I said this before but this time I think I actully mean it, yesterday was one of the hardest workouts! Kristi retested us in some areas to see the improvments. Brittany and I both gained 4 pounds of muscel! Which is kinda of hard to believe it such a short time. The bad news is Brittany found out that we are not allowed to use IPODS during the race on April 10th! I am extremly upset about this because I know it doesnt sound like a big deal but I can not run without my music! I really hope I can sneek it in and listen to it! Other then that the project is going well. Today I am taking it easy and not going to do anything too hard. I am excited for the race this sunday. It will be good practice to get in the feel of races. The race is only two weeks away! I am starting to get very nervous! But I really should not be! It will all work out! Later today I am going to finish my imovie for my midterm exam. Yesterday I helped Lindsay film hers. It was really cool to see someone elses WISE project. Be back later!

March 24th
Hey!
Today is Thursday! This week is flying by. Today Brittany and I have a training session with Kristi. I am nervous to see what she is going to have us do today. She always pushes us to our limits. The other night Brit and I ran four miles with very little walking! I felt extremely accomplished! After we meet with Kristi we have another run today! I know that I will be sore tomorrow. I was looking at my calendar today and I can not believe how fast the race is approaching! It is only a few weeks away! My mom and dad booked our hotel the other day. This is all so exciting. I will be relieved when the race is over though, because I am starting to get a little bit nervous. Today Kristi is going to film us for our exam project. Once she does that I have to finish putting my imovie together. Lindsey is going to come over today after school and we are going to help each other with our projects. As I talked about earlier in my blog I am running a 5k this Sunday. My mom and dad are now doing it too! I am excited for them to do it. If it wasn't for my WISE project they would not be motivated to do this. Wise is really awesome and can get other people involved that you never thought about. Im going to go but I will be back later this week!

Hello!
It has been a while since I last blogged! Today is the first day back from spring break! I have not blogged over my spring break but I still have been working on my project of course! Over the break I continued to do the schedule, we are limited on time because the race is coming up soon! It is less then a month away! We are deflfitianlly doing the Irongirl race in Clearwater on April 10th. Yesterday I registered for the race so that was exciting! My dad is also booking the hotel this week. We are going to go up the day before because the race is at 7 am the next morning. Brittany was in Colorado most of spring break so it was very different doing our training by ourselves. We both agree that it is much easier having a partner through this process! Friday morning we met with Kristi and it was one of the hardest sessions we had with her! We were both extremely sore after! But it felt good to be back and training together! Then Sunday ( yesterday) we had our 6 mile run. This was another extremely hard day! It was not only our long run, but we were still tired, and we went at 12 in the afternoon so it was extremely hot out! I also did not drink enough water before and I was getting bad cramps! This is all good to know because we would not want that to happen in the real race. Much rather that happen during one of our runs. We also started off running for 5 min without stopping and walking for 1 for the first 3 miles of our run yesterday. I am so happy we tried this out because we both agree that if we run until we are tired and walk for a few min then we have more energy to finish the race! This sunday we are running a 5K at Markham park. I think that will be fun and it is also good practice to get the feel for what the race is going to be like. This afternoon I have my mentor meeting with Coach Love. I am excited for that because I did not see him at all last week! Ill be back to report later!

march 7th
Hello!
Today is the begging of the week before spring break!!! I am so excited! This past week was a good week for my WISE project. We had another good week of sticking to our schedule! We also improved our time and got down to a ten min mile, which is our goal! Yesterday I went on a run and it was nice out because it was not too hot out. Today we trained with Kristi because this thursday Brittany is going away. Today was another hard day! But im glad that we got it in this week and it makes it much easier to do it with a friend! She gave us a list of things that she wants us to do on Wensday. I had to switch my mentor meeting to tomorrow because we had to meet with Kristi earlier. Also this weekend is going to be different because I will have to do my long run without Brittany. Im sure it will be fine though. We also got this running magazine that they where giving out for free in Jamba Juice. I have not taken a look at it yet but I am going to now before I go to bed. I am exhausted I think it has to do with the hard workout today! Goodnight! Ill be back soon!

March 4th
Hello!
Happy Friday! Today I am so sore from yesterday! Yesterday Britany and I had another training session with Kristi. She made us work extremely hard again! We had our weekly hourly training. While we were talking to her we came up with the idea to make T-shirts. We have to design a slogan or a logo and we plan to give them to our family and mentors and everyone who has helped us with our project. Today is rest day! Me and Brittany both have differnt foot injuries! So we have been iceing them and making sure that we strach enough. They are not to serious yet but we definitly would not want them to get any worst. This weekend we have our 5 mile run. We are not sure where we are going to do it yet. We have been mixing up the routs that we run which makes it more interesting. Yesterday we averaged an 11 min mile and ran 4.3 miles after our training session! We where very happy about this because our goal is a 10 min mile. We realized that we are getting faster! We also started to take some pictures of us running in action. This we will use for our presntation an scarpbook. Next week Kristi is going to test us again like she did in the beggining so we can have a mid way report and see the improvments we have made. I really feel the running getting easier! March 2nd
Hello!
Today is Wensday. Half way through the week! So far this week has been yet another good week for WISE. Monday night Britany and I took a class at the Y. It was good and not too tiring which was good. We also went to A.C. Moore after school and purchased scrapbooks! This was a lot of fun because we both love doing that kind of stuff. In the scrapbook section they had a bunch of great disney stuff so we decided that we are going to make our scrapbooks to a Disney theme! I think Coach Love with enjoy that! We talked about setting time aside once a week for working on our scrapbooks. We also decided on a race. We are going to do the Irongirl in Clearwater Fl on April 10th. We are a little nervous that we don't have as much time to train but it is going to be a lot easier if we stay in Florida. Yesterday afternoon we had another team meeting and Coach Love went over what we have to do for our midterm exam. I am excited to start working on it. He showed us examples of ones from previous years and they looked cool. This afternoon we are not sure yet what we are going to do for our workout. We might bike, swim, or spin. Yesterday after our meeting we went running right from school. We ran 3.8 miles except we had to stop because it was boiling out! It was the hottest part of the day on one of the hottest days of the year! We realized that we either have to run very early, or later after the sun goes down. We think we are going to sign up for a race this weekend which will be fun! I will be back later to share about the rest of my week!

In the scrapbook section they had a bunch of great disney stuff so we decided that we are going to make our scrapbooks to a Disney theme! I think Coach Love with enjoy that! We talked about setting time aside once a week for working on our scrapbooks. We also decided on a race. We are going to do the Irongirl in Clearwater Fl on April 10th. We are a little nervous that we don't have as much time to train but it is going to be a lot easier if we stay in Florida. Yesterday afternoon we had another team meeting and Coach Love went over what we have to do for our midterm exam. I am excited to start working on it. He showed us examples of ones from previous years and they looked cool. This afternoon we are not sure yet what we are going to do for our workout. We might bike, swim, or spin. Yesterday after our meeting we went running right from school. We ran 3.8 miles except we had to stop because it was boiling out! It was the hottest part of the day on one of the hottest days of the year! We realized that we either have to run very early, or later after the sun goes down. We think we are going to sign up for a race this weekend which will be fun! I will be back later to share about the rest of my week!

Hello!
Wow this is my last post for the month of Feb! This year is flying! This weekend was a great weekend for my WISE project. Thursday Brittany and I met with Kristi and we had an extremly hard workout with her. We knew that we where going to be so sore after. Right after we finished she made us go on a 3 mile run! At first we could hardly run. After we ran for a little bit it became much easier. When we where finsihed we felt awesome! Yesterday was sunday and my friend Lindsey and I ran a 5k the Tour De Broward. I was extremely proud of ourselves for doing this because we decided the day before that we were going to do this. We woke up at 6 on Sunday morning and went! The run was hard, I barely walked! I was happy about that. I fnished about my average mile was about 10 min. Kristi said that 10 min miles should be our goal. So I now know that I am capable of doing it. Lindsey is a great help in my project. She motivates me and makes it eaiser when you have someone to run with. Brittany was away this weekend so it worked out perfectly. This morning I was looking online and I found a run on weston on april 3rd. I am going to registar soon. Tonight is our strenght and stretching day so we are going to take a pilates class tonight.

Feb24th
Hello!
I am so tired today! Today was our first time meeting with Kristi and she kicked our butts! We had a super hard workout and then after we where done we had to run three miles after that! It was exhausting but it also made me feel good. I know tomorrow I will be sore. Yesterday was fun! Brittany and I went swimming for our workout. It was MUCH harder then I thought it would be! I always thought swimming was easy, but when we started doing laps I was out of breath and tired very quickly. It was a lot of fun and we couldn't believe we got to leave school to go swimming for our WISE project. Wise is seriously awesome. We also went to Total Nutrition in Weston. We wanted to see what they had. We both got different kinds of bars and energy jelly beans. We take them either before or after we run and they actually help! Todays run was extremely hard! Our legs where so tired after our session of working out. Kristi also showed us the steaches that we should be doing. Stretching is extremely important and a lot of times people forget to do it. Also today during second hour I found the race that we are going to do. It is right here in Miami so that is so much better! In between we are also going to sign up to run two 5ks. Those will be easy compared to what we are used to running. Tomorrow is Friday TGIF. It is also our rest day! My friend Allison is coming in from Michigan so I am going to get to see her! Brittany is going to be in Gainesville so it works out that tomorrow is our rest day! Ill be back later this weekend =)

Feb 23rd
Hello!
Yesterday I had my mentor meeting with Coach Love and it went well as usual. I told him all about the running schdule that Brittany and I are following. Also we spoke about how having a partner in the process is extremely helpful and motivating. Yesterday after my meeting I went right over to Brittanys house and we where dreading the three mile run that was ahead of us. It was about 2:00 in the afternoon, and just about the hottest part of the day. We decided that we where just going to suck it up and do it. Suprisingly it went by pretty quickly and we where surprised that it was not bad at all! We tried to follow the "galloway" way to run where you run and have short walks inbetween to restore your energy. Today we are going to swim. I am very excited about that because I love to swim and its more fun then it is a workout for me. After our swim we plan on going to the runners depot. I am excited to see all the things that are out there for runners. Since I am new to this I don't know all the tips and assessories that they offer. While we are there we hope to speak to someone who can give us a little bit of advice. Tomorrow is out first training session with Krsiti.... im hopeing she doesnt kill us! Hey!
Sorry I did not blog in a few days! This weekend was very successful. Sunday are the days where we have do our long runs. This Sunday we had to run 4 miles! This was the longest I have ran in a while! I was a little nervous before but after I felt great! Brittany and I ran at a comfortable speed, and finished preetty quickly. There where about 2 or three times that we had to stop and walk for a little because we had cramps or something. We ran early in the morning before it got extrememly hot. Next time we think we are going to run even earlier because by the end of our run it was very hot out. We also tried a few kinds of energy gummies that she had in her house. They where reccomended to us after you run long distances. We are going to go to the runners depot later this week and buy some stuff that we think will help us. I also spoke to someone this weekened who just startred running last year! She is running a half marathon this weekend in Disney! I wish it was later on in the year because I would love to run that one. My mom and I also did some research and found a half maraton a week earlier then the country music one and it is in north Miami Beach. So its MUCH closer! my friend jamie and sam are here so I have to go.

Feb 19th
Hello!
Today is Saturday! Sorry I did not blog yesterday but I have a lot to catch you up on. Thursday Britany and I went to meet with Kristi and it was great! She can help us with exactly what we need. When we got there she did measurements and tested us in all these categories such as flexibility, strength, our blood pressure ect. This machine that she used was extremely cool. She gave us a print out of everything. She was really excited to help us with our project and she thinks that WISE is an awesome thing. We are going to take the tests again at the end and compare our results. She also made a training schedule for the next 12 weeks for us! This was very cool because we have a print out of what we have to do everyday from now until the day of the race. We also set up a time to meet with her once a week to help us train. We spent about an hour and a half with her. After we left we where even more excited about our project. When I got home I went on a run with my friend Lindsey who is also in WISE. It was a really good run and it made it go buy quickly when I was running with a friend. She also was helpful because she motivated me when I was tired. Every Friday is our rest days so yesterday I did not run. I did purchase a running magazine which I found some really cool articles in there. This morning I worked out for a half hour because she said to do that on Saturdays because on Sundays we have to run at least 4 miles! Tomorrow I will let you know how it goes! Britany and I want to come up with different and interesting routs so that we are not always running the same places and get board. I am loving my project so far!

Hey!
Today is Thursday morning. Yesterday after school I had a team meeting and we went over all the basic things for WISE. We went over how to properly use our noodletools which helped. For our homework that is due today we had to find an article on how the government is involved with our topic. I found an article on all the rules and regulations in different kinds of running. I found it pretty interesting because before reading it I did not know much about it at all. This afternoon Brittany and I are going to do a three mile run and then go meet with the girl Kristi. I am excited to see what she has to say. I also think we should register for the race fairly soon. Yesterday I spent some time brainstorming some of my friends who run or are on track teams. I think that getting in touch with them and talking to them would be a great source. This weekend coming up is a long weekend so that means I will have plenty of time to work on my WISE project. I am excited to have a long weekend! I am currently in interior design class and kind of board. But today is a pretty easy day. Tomorrow or sometime this weekend I hope to go to the running depot. Valentines Day!
Hello!
Today is a beautiful monday afternoon. I just got back from my daily run. Today was harder then most days. I think my legs are a little sore. I definitely need to make sure that I am stretching enough! I forgot how important is it. Today I had my weekly mentor meeting with Coach Love. It went well like usual. I told him that I want to get out and talk to more people this week. Last week I did not do a tun of off the computer research so I want to make sure I do some this week. Tomorrow at two I have an appointment to meet with a trainer and go over everything that I need to do from now until April. I have very excited and interested to hear what she has to say. I think that reaching out for processional help is defiantly the right move. I was talking to Coach Love today about this being my goal. I am really motivated and hope that I can reach it! I think this will be something that I can look back on years from now and be proud of what I accomplished my senior year in high school. I think I might stop at a bookstore this week and read some books on running. There are so many things out there that are completely foreign to me. Even though I have ran in my life, running long distance is something that I have never done before. The good thing about it too is that I can continue with it for years! It is not something that has to stop when WISE is over. I am going to get in the shower. I will keep you posted on what is going on later this week! I am sure that I will have a lot to talk about after tomorrow!

Happy almost V day
Hello!
And happy almost valentines day. Today and tomorrow are sad days for me. Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of when my grandpa died. =(. I am going to try and make it through the next day thinking about it as little as possible. On the bright side today I went for a long run outside. The running conditions where perfect! It was sunny and not humid at all! I also spoke to Kristi the the other day! It was great because it sounds like she can help me and Brit out with exactly what we want. We have an appointment with her tuesday afternoon at 2! She said she is going to go over what our running schedule should look like, and help us go over what we should be eating. Yesterday morning I also went on a run. It was kind of damp out and not that nice, but once I started running it was fine. I saw my sister this weekend because she came in to dance. Her dance company was performing in Miami. Saturday I spent the day with her and I told her about my WISE project. She thought it sounded awesome. I sat in on one of her dance practices and I saw how hard all the dancers where working and it really motivated me and truly proved that you can do anything you put your mind to as long as you are willing to put a little effort in. I am continuing with the idea of "baby steps" and I think that in the end it will pay off! I have to go eat dinner I will be back and blog tomorrow =)

Hey readers!
Sorry I have not blogged in a few days! I have been very busy! Just because I have not blogged does not mean I have not been doing and thinking about stuff for my project. This week I have gone running everyday! I can already see myself building up endurance. This is very exciting. I finally heard back from a girl named Kristi and I think she can help me out with what I want. I have been running for about 30 min each day. Believe it or not for me that is a lot. This weeks homework was to find an article that has to do with the economics of our project. I found one that talks about the entry fees to races are going up. I found this to be an interesting article. This week I also had my weekly meeting with Coach Love. It was another good meeting. He had exciting news for me and told me that he might have a connection to someone at the local news station, who participates in a lot of running events. The weather this week has been absolutely beautiful for running! It has not been to too hot. I plan on going on another run this afternoon when I get home as long as it does not rain! This weekend I also want to stop by the runners depot. As far as training goes, my moms friend highly recommends me looking online. She said that a lot of what she read online was extremely helpful. This afternoon I am going to set aside time to do some research. I also want to go out and buy one of those running magazines, who knows maybe I can find something interesting in there. Be back soon!

Post six
Hello! Yesterday was Superbowl Sunday. It was also a great day for my WISE project. I have been running everyday in order to work up to a half marathon. I ran early yesterday morning and then again with my friend Nikki in the afternoon. I am slowly but surely making baby steps. On Friday Brittney and I met with a guy who we thought was going to help us with our nutrition for the project. After meeting with him he was not really offering us what we wanted. I called my gym and found out that they offer nutrition classes and I spoke to someone name Kristi who thinks she might be able to help us. We want someone to help guide us with what we should be eating for the running that we are doing. We also want a trainer to help us design a running plan that works for us. Hopefully today I can speak to someone. Also my moms friend Jen who just ran the half marathon last week e-mailed me this morning with the names of people at the running store that helped he. She also sent me the names of websites that she found very helpful. Yesterday I was searching the internet for different half marathons in case we do not want to go to the one is Nashville. I found one that is a little bit earlier on April 10th in Clearwater. The reason there are not that many in Florida that time of year is because it is extremely hot. My friend Nikki signed me up to do the relay for life with her in a few months. This is great because it raises money for her cousin who is going through cancer and it also is great practice. Today after I have my meeting with Coach Love I plan on going out for another run today. Later this week I am going to run with my friend Lindsay who is also in the WISE program. She is doing something else for her project but she loves to run and she said that she wants to train with me. This is great because it will be huge motivation to run with her. I am going to go and E mail Jen back now. I am also going to do some research now on other running websites. Be back later. =)

Post Five
Hello readers!
Today is Thursday afternoon Feb 2nd. Yesterday I went on my "first" run for my new WISE project. It was hard while I was doing it, but afterwards I felt great! I am so motivated to do my new project. Today Brittany called a nutritionist and we set up a time to meet with them tomorrow at one o' clock. I am extremely excited about this and very interested to see what he is going to say. I am so happy with the amount of progress we have made this week. I feel like we really are getting the ball moving. I also spoke to my moms friend Jen who ran a half marathon this past weekend. She was extremely helpful with answering a few questions for my interview, and said that she is more then happy to help us with anything we need along the way. She also suggested some websites that she said helped her. Today I am going out for my second run of my WISE project. Hopefully everyday it will get a little bit easier. I am not killing myself though. I am taking really small baby steps until I reach my running goal. There are also a few shorter runs to help raise money for different causes in the area coming up and I think it would be a great idea to sign up for some of them because they would be great practice. Brittany also called me this afternoon with great news! She said that Mr. Gellers relative is going to help us with our training! I feel like everything for our project is slowly just coming together, which is very funny to me because we started out with the idea of design and now are headed a totally different direction. Post 4
Hello!
Well yesterday was a very productive day! Yesterday after our team meeting about blogging Brittany and I went to Starbucks to make some phone calls to places we are interested in going to shadowing someone. She and I put together A large list of numbers that we found from different places. We spent quite a while calling different architecture firms and interior designers in the area. After a few phone calls that where unsuccessful, we realized that this was not going to be as easy as we thought. We know that WISE students in the past have done similar projects but we are not really sure how they went about it. One of the problems with this as our project is that some architects and designers work out of their house so it would be kind of hard for us to shadow or intern there. We left our names and our phone numbers with a few people and they said that they would get back to us. We ended up staying at Starbucks for about 2 hours! Just as we where getting ready to go home Brittany came to me with another idea. She had the idea of training to run a half marathon a few months from now. Our project will include talking to trainers and having them help us to come up with a plan on how to train. Also we will meet with a nutritionist and make sure we are eating the proper diet for what we are going to do. I loved this idea and think that this would be an awesome life experience and a great WISE project. This project will be a huge challenging but I know that I will feel so accomplished if I really do train and complete a half marathon. I am currently the most basic kind of runner now, so I think it will be extremely interesting to track my progress and truly test if anyone is capable of running a half marathon. The most I have ever ran at one time is 6 miles so I have a long ways progress to make. I am going to talk to a trainer later this afternoon with Brittany and see what they say. After we make the phone call I plan on going on a one mile run. For me right now that is about as far as I can run. Ill be back later and keep you posted on what happens!
Well yesterday was a very productive day! Yesterday after our team meeting about blogging Brittany and I went to Starbucks to make some phone calls to places we are interested in going to shadowing someone. She and I put together A large list of numbers that we found from different places. We spent quite a while calling different architecture firms and interior designers in the area. After a few phone calls that where unsuccessful, we realized that this was not going to be as easy as we thought. We know that WISE students in the past have done similar projects but we are not really sure how they went about it. One of the problems with this as our project is that some architects and designers work out of their house so it would be kind of hard for us to shadow or intern there. We left our names and our phone numbers with a few people and they said that they would get back to us. We ended up staying at Starbucks for about 2 hours! Just as we where getting ready to go home Brittany came to me with another idea. She had the idea of training to run a half marathon a few months from now. Our project will include talking to trainers and having them help us to come up with a plan on how to train. Third Post
Hi readers,
Today is Monday Jan 31st. This week I want to really get the ball moving with my project. This afternoon I met with my mentor coach Love. We had our first meeting and it went very well. I plan on making a few phone calls this afternoon to different places and setting up times to go visit them. I also purchased three interior design magazines. I am extremely excited to read threw them once I am done blogging because I love to pick out things that I like and I am thinking that I might start a journal or a collage full of interesting things I find threw out my project. I think that would be really cool because after the nine weeks I will have a tun of pictures and things that I kept and will have a lot to look back on. Tomorrow in my interior design class I am going to be assigned new project. I am excited to see what is it. Also this afternoon I am going to do my designer spotlight which is every week we are assigned a different designer to research and answer several questions about. This is cool because it exposes us to several different designers and what is out there. It is also interesting to hear their history and how they came to be designers. On weeks when we do not have a designer spotlight we have current events that are related to anything in the field. Between these two assignments I think it will really help my WISE project. Well I am going to start getting the stuff I need to do. I will be back soon!

Second Post
Hello readers,
Today is a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I spend the day shopping with my mom. We went to sawgrass and walked around for a little but we where unsuccessful. Yesterday my mom went to home goods and found a tun of new stuff for the new house that she is decorating. I really like what she picked out. She didn't get much for me because she said she wanted for me to be there to pick stuff out. I now know exactly how I want to decorate my new room! I am very excited. Also yesterday in interior design class we went over a power point presentation on interior design in detail. We learned what the difference is between a decorator and a designer. We also learned a little bit about the history of interior design including who the first interior designer was. This was all very interesting and cool especially because it all relates back to my WISE project. During the begging of next week we are going to be making boards that express our style and what we like. After looking threw a bunch of interior design magazines and catalogs I realized that this is going to be tough for me because there are so many different things and styles that I like. It is hard to name one that is my favorite. I am looking forward to working out something interesting to do with Brittany this week. Thats pretty much it for today. Ill be back and keep you posed!

First Blog First week of wise!
Today is Thursday Jan. 28th. I just set up my blogger account and I am trying this out for this first time! This is very exciting because I have never had a blog or blogged about anything before. Today I met with my mentor Coach Love for the first time. He filled out a report on quia. We also set up a time to have our weekly meetings at 1:30 on mondays. This way we can meet and talk about all that happened the week before. Earlier this week we had a meeting during 4th hour with all the other wise students and they went over all the basic stuff about the program that we will need to know. Yesterday we went to the media center and got official wise passes so we can leave campus everyday. This is all so exciting. I can't believe it is already second semester and time to start working on our projects! The year is going by so quickly! As for my WISE project I made up my mind that I want to do something related to interior design or architecture. I am interested in both of these things and so is Brittnay Stolzenberg. We are kind of going to team up and share part of our WISE experience together which is pretty cool. Today I thought about my project during second hour because I am in interior design class. In this class we do a lot of cool and creative things all on design. Today we talked about doing this project called extreme makeover classroom addition which is going to be like extreme makeover on TV except we help teachers redecorate their classrooms. Also I am decorating my room at my new house so today when I got home I looked at fabrics and bedding online. I think I finally came up with one! I also picked a headboard and possibly choice the color of the walls. I am so happy to help my mom out with all of this house stuff because I love doing all of this. I also need to start thinking about how I am going to decorate my dorm room. Im going to look for bedding now. Ill be back soon!
